Warehouse Worker / Labourer
Reports to: Store Manager or Supervisor on duty
At Guy’s Frenchys our warehouse worker plays an essential role within our company. Our warehouse worker is responsible for loading our export and rag bags onto the truck in an organized and efficient manner. Some locations also require unloading of bales and product using bale cart, pallet jack and/or forklift. They ensure that the clothing bales are opened and loaded into canvas carts on a daily basis. They also help maintain a safe, working environment for our customers and staff.

Job duties
- Bringing export and rag bags from sorting floor onto the truck
- Moving product-filled bags using a dolly
- Odd jobs around the store such as changing store furnace filters/AC, changing lightbulbs, high dusting, painting
- Salting the parking lot, and shoveling doorways
- Emptying garbage into dumpster
- Opening bales according to safe job procedures and loading it into the canvas carts
- Maintaining Inventory on a weekly basis
- Daily outside maintenance – picking up garbage, sweeping parking lot, mowing/whippersnipping
Requirements
- Drag or move export bags (30-35 lbs.), and rag bags (50-55 lbs.) loading area (up to 50 feet away)
- Keeping work area clean and hazard free
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have a flexible schedule and able to work evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency in multi-tasking
- Consistently reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
- Ability to endure the physical requirements on an on-going basis
- Able to safely and properly lift on a continuous basis
